Noida, one of the top destinations for job seekers in India, is an up-and-coming place for every job seeker in the country. This city is close to the capital city of Delhi and is one of the hot destinations for every IT candidate. And the well-planned city makes it easy for people to live and enjoy. But is this city a good place for people to live in, and enjoy?
Here are the reviews we got when some of our friends moved to Noida.
Pollution: recent studies have shown that Delhi is the sixth-most polluted city in the world, and air pollution has touched dangerous levels in the NCR town of Noida as well. So, this city has taught me to keep a face mask handy, at ALL times. And after the advent of covid 19, it is nearly impossible to not do that. And masks are necessary for this city. No matter what.
Tuk-tuk and autos: From tuk-tuks, autos, cabs to the rickshaw and then the metro-the options for public transport are huge! Although the metro is the lifeline of the city, it might require you to knock or nudge someone to get a seat, or just stand the whole way of the journey. And if you're not in the mood, auto owners know just how to burn a hole in your pocket with their overpriced meters
Street food: The best part about living in Noida is that you'll always find food, even at midnight, and at really cheap rates. From Brahmaputra market to Atta--Noida is filled with really pocket-friendly food options. With really tasty options to choose from at literally every corner, you never have to worry about being hungry, even when you are broke!
Budget living: Unlike Delhi and other cities, Noida provides accommodation for all kinds of budgets. You can easily get a fully/semi furnished house on rent, or a PG accommodation with food, for really cheap rates.
Street shopping: If you've been wondering how the NCR girls manage to stay so well-dressed at all times, here's your answer. We have two words for you--flea markets. Brahmaputra, Indira, and Atta are some of the markets you should check while staying in the city.! The best part about them--you can bargain as much as you'd like, but it is advised to check the item thoroughly before buying.
