As the public transport is not that advanced, the roads are not that well maintained and are kind of dirty. Though govt is cleaning every day the city is still struggling with littering problems every day.
But, If you are ok with traveling with app cabs like uber, your life can be far more comfortable and easy since the city is not very big and you go from one side to the other for very little.
Food in this city is just incredible, no matter if you are a vegetarian or a carnivore. I found the best food here the chats, mithai -sweet Makhan malai…biryani kabab…oh. I can speak a lot. So do not worry about food it's inexpensive and so far good.
finding a home .. is a little bit tricky. If you are from the northern part of India you will find the house structure is similar but for me, it's new.
They all have big houses that look rich from the outside but when u enter I feel less possibility of entering the sunlight. It must be because of all. of these houses are open. only from the front end and the other four sides are stuck with. other houses. It must be required for living here as per the geographic need but I do not like it.
Try to get a house in gomtinagar Indira Nagar or Ashiana these are by far the best open area. Also, these areas have green too.
Lucknow has a very limited place to visit within the city and you can roam around these places on weekends. But one good thing is there is a lot of weekend gateways like Agra Nainital dudhwa national park Varanasi and a lot. Do not waste this opportunity.
life is here calm and chilling. Try to be engaged in some activities after office area if you are living alone. Do visit your friends if are any..it's a good way to explore the city with local.
